Bunny Demo - Stage 8 - "Edges"
There are four basic categories of Edges: hard, firm, soft, and lost. Can you identify these in my painting so far?
A hard edge occurs often in cast shadows and areas of high constrast meeting places (example: dark hair against light skin). A firm edge occurs on bony areas where less fat deposits are such as the bridge of the nose. A soft edge is found in areas that are more rounded such as the cheek area. A lost edge is anywhere you lose the seperation of elements and, therefore, it is impossible to define where a object begins or ends.
